Amber Skye Photography is committed to protecting your privacy.  We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a personalised service to you when you visit our web site. 

At Amber Skye Photography, we appreciate that you do not want the personal information you provide to us distributed indiscriminately and here, we explain how we collect information, what we do with it and what controls you have.

 

What information does Amber Skye Photography collect and how is it used?

When you order we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, debit/credit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your order and to notify you of your order status.

We ask for your telephone number to enable us to contact you if there is a problem with your order. In the case of international orders this number may be passed on to our couriers.

When you submit an order on the Web Site, we may ask you questions about what kind of products and services you would like to be able to buy or what you think of the products and services we offer.  If you answer those questions, we may keep a record of your answers in order to help us to improve our products and services generally.

 

We may also use this information to notify you (by email or post) about important functionality changes to the web site, about new Amber Skye Photography products, services and special offers we think you would appreciate.  Also, if you indicate on the Web Site that you would like us to, we may also use this information to notify you (by email or post) about products, services and special offers offered by our business partners that we think you would appreciate. For example, if you have booked us as your wedding photographers we might pass you details on special jewellery offers, wedding venues, or other wedding related products).  Except as indicated in this privacy policy, all other personal information that you give us through the Web Site is used only for the purposes of complying with contracts that you enter into via the Web Site.  
Anyone taking part in a group photograph at a ceremony or event does so voluntarily and on the basis that they consent to the fact that the photograph:

 

May be displayed and made generally available for sale on the Amber Skye Photography web site (and any successor to that web site);

may be displayed and made generally available for sale in other Amber Skye Photography publications; and

may be used for promotional purposes.

Due to the number of people involved in the photograph participants will appreciate this consent cannot be withdrawn after the photograph has been taken.

Photographs of your Session / Event may be made available online. These photographs will be available for view and order at http://www.amberskye.co.uk You will need a password to access the login area of the site and this will be provided to you by email as soon as the images are loaded onto the web, usually within 5 working days of the Session / Event and up to 4 weeks for Weddings. The password will be specific to your ceremony. If you wish us to remove your photograph please contact us at rob@amberskye.co.uk and we will remove the photograph immediately. The photos will be displayed on the website for 6 months after the ceremony

 

To prevent unauthorised access as required by the UK Data Protection Act 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we are able to disclose personal data to you following a request from you to do so.

We may pass your personal information to carefully selected and trustworthy third parties so that they notify you (by email or post) about products, services and special offers offered by them that we think you would appreciate.  If you change your mind and would rather not receive this information please send an email to  rob@amberskye.co.uk
